Target & Tinseltown: Shoppable Film Features Kristen Bell, Nia Long and Zachary Abel

We’re proud of our history of innovative marketing. Remember this spring ad? We couldn’t get that French song out of our heads for weeks! And have you seen the latest fall commercial?

And now, we’re excited to unveil what Target has done next.

Mixing commercials and cinema for an unprecedented, first-of-its-kind shopping experience, Target has enlisted Hollywood heavyweights like “Mad Men” director Phil Abraham and actors Kristen Bell (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall”), Zachary Abel (“Make It or Break It”) and Nia Long(Fresh Prince of Bel-aire”, “Big Mama’s House”) for a short film that will debut on Target.com/FallingforYou in a series of three episodes, starting Oct. 2.

Titled “Falling for You,” the short film is a romantic comedy highlighting fall fashion, beauty and home product from Target—a clever extension of the fall marketing campaign.

Viewers can, for the first time ever, shop and share product seen in each episode without interrupting the film—something we think we’ll be happy about considering we won’t want to take our eyes off our computers once we click play.

We went behind the scenes on set of “Falling for You” to get all the cinema secrets. Check out the video below, and stay tuned for the first episode!
