Our canine companion Bullseye has been busy recently—just check out the adorable dog at Target’s 50th Anniversary Party.
And now it’s time for Bullseye to take up a very important cause this holiday.
“The return of Target as a St. Jude Thanks and Giving partner is a testament to its commitment to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude,” said Marlo Thomas, national outreach director for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “Thanks to partners like Target and its loyal customers, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is able to continue saving the lives of countless children around the world, all at no cost to patients and their families.”
Complete with red festive holiday sweater, the dog is available in stores on Nov. 4 and online at Target.com now while supplies last. Most important, Target will donate 100 percent of the purchase price from the Holiday Bullseye to the organization up to $750,000 (now that’s what we call a fashion statement).
While the partnership marks Target’s second year offering the Bullseye plush dog to raise funds for St. Jude (see last year’s red-and-white scarf and beanie version here), the company has been a partner of the hospital since the debut of Target House in 1999.
In addition to the thousands of families who have called it home, Target House has played host to Target’s entertainment and sports guests who are committed to St. Jude’s mission —from Platinum Recording Artist Jordin Sparks to professional athletes like Kevin Robinson, Paul Rodriguez, Ryan Dungey, Torin Yater-Wallace and Simon Dumont.
Joining the VIP list this year? Bullseye – and that snazzy red sweater.
